Roland G. Baril 89, of Frostproof, FL, and formerly of Cumberland, died Tuesday, September 13, at home. He was the husband of Hazel (Schreifels) Baril and the late Dora (Levesque) Baril. He was born in Woonsocket, the son of the late Joseph and Marie Anne Baril. Mr. Baril was a Cumberland resident for nearly forty years before moving to Florida. He was WWII Navy veteran, and worked as a mechanic for the French Worsted in Woonsocket and later at Tupperware in North Smithfield for eighteen years, retiring in 1984. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and shuffleboard and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Jocelyn Labrecque and her husband Marcel of North Smithfield, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Jeannine Sherman.
