Richard A. Kneeland, Sr., 65 of Derry, NH died Saturday September 17, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Kneeland was born in Cambridge, MA on August 13, 1951, the son of the late Francis and Florence (Monahan) Kneeland. He had resided in Derry for the past 32 years, formerly living in Malden, MA.
Richard was a diehard Pats fan and an avid golfer although his passion was riding his motorcycle and enjoyed boating as well as relaxing up north at camp.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary (Frasier) Kneeland of Derry, two sons, Richard Kneeland and his wife Christine of Deerfield Beach, FL, and Todd Kneeland and his wife Michelle of North Berwick, ME, five brothers, Tom Kneeland, Frank Kneeland, John Kneeland, Bobby Kneeland, and Eddie Kneeland. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 4 – 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10 – 11:00 am with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
