Richard W. "Chip" Chapinski, 51, of Kingston, NH, died Saturday September 17, 2016 in the Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH. He was born in Haverhill, MA on June 12, 1965. Chip was raised in Atkinson, NH where he lived most of his life, and was a graduate of Timberlane High School, Class of 1984. He was an accomplished athlete in Track & Field, and held State Records for the long jump. Chip loved hunting and hiking, was a supporter of the NRA, and was passionate about his dog "Bud".
He is survived by his mother, Janet Twombly and her husband Ernest of Fremont, NH; two sisters, Barbara Morton and her husband Len of Kingston, NH, and Lori Perreault of Sandown, NH; as well as four nieces, Alicia Vincent, Angela White, Heather Morton, and Audrey Perreault. He was predeceased by his father, Frank S. Chapinski.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A private graveside service will be held in Atkinson Cemetery in Atkinson, NH.
