Shawn M. Wood, 41 of Plymouth died peacefully Thursday September 15, 2016 surrounded by his family at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth. He was the son of Alan R. Wood of W. Springfield and the late Kathleen A. Flynn. Shawn has lived a lifetime with special needs and has been a resident for over 30 of those years at the Plymouth Rehabilitation Center.
In addition to his Dad, Shawn is survived by his three brothers; Timothy of North Carolina, Christopher of Bridgewater and Daniel of Springfield; his grandmother Barbara Irene Wood of Brockton as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday morning September 20, 2016 at 10am in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, immediately followed by a catholic funeral home service at 11am. Burial is scheduled in the Mass National Cemetery Bourne at 12:45pm. In memory of Shawn donations may be made to the Plymouth Rehabilitation Center 123 South Street Plymouth, MA 02360
