Obituary

FALL RIVER - Edmond O. Madore, 76, of 94 Whipple St., Fall River, MA, died Monday at home. He was the husband of Elsie (Ferreira) Madore. He is survived by One Son: Michael Victor Madore of Brownville, N.Y., Three Daughters: Sandra Madore-Girouard of Seattle, WA, enrietta Silva of Providence, R.I., and Lisa Marie Reed of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., leven Grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Walter, Norman, and Roland Madore, Alice Brown, and Florida Ramos.

Born in Westport, MA, the son of the late Pierre Madore and the late Eva (Robidoux) Madore. He was a Fall River resident for most of his life. Before retiring, he worked in Maintenance at Raytheon in Norwood, at St. Theresa Parish in Tiv., RI, and lastly in Raytheon in Quincy. He was a former member of St. Louis Parish. He was now a member and Eucharistic Minister, Usher, and Collector at St. Mary Cathedral. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #86, 4th Degree of Bishop Stang Assembly, and past Grand knight. He was the recipient of the Marion Medal in 1998 from Bishop Sean O’Malley.

His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Friday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 P.M.
