Larry Dramon Hood, 65, of Tifton passed away Friday, September 16, 2016, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Bill Goff officiating. Mr. Hood will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 18, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born August 19, 1951 in Tift County, Mr. Hood was the son of the late William Craven Hood and Florine Vera Griffin Hood. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Hood and Charles Hood; and a sister, Shirley Brewington. Larry loved the Lord with all his heart.
Mr. Hood is survived by one brother, Tony Hood of Tallahassee, Florida; and five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Kay and Harry Rizer, Jr. and Diane and Tommy Pitts, all of Tifton, Mary Jo Burroughs of Baconton, Barbara Lovell and Charlotte and Harry Lovell, all of Cordele.
