Esther Lee (Varney) Davies, passed away September 13, 2016 after a yearlong illness surrounded by her loving family at her home in Londonderry, NH.
Esther grew up in the Camden-Rockport area of Maine and graduated from Camden-Rockport High School. She lived in Londonderry since 1987 and worked for a period at Sears in Manchester. Esther loved spending time camping with her family and tending her garden but the real joy in her life was her family especially her daughters and most of all being Nanny to her two grandsons.
Esther is survived by her husband Chris and their daughters Rhiannon Vadney and her husband Adam of Hudson and Megan Davies of Londonderry, her treasured grandsons, Trenton and Tanner, her father Howard Varney of Belmont, ME, as well as her loving sisters, Arlene Harriman and her husband Tracy of Belmont, ME, and Susan Willey of Old Orchard Beach, ME. She is also survived by her beloved nieces, Traci, Debbie, Laurie, nephew Jeremy, cousin Dickie and their families. She was predeceased by her greatly missed mother, Marion.
After cremation, a memorial visitation was held on Saturday the 24th of September from 3 to 5 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to a charitable organization of your choice or to the American Cancer Society.
