Obituary

Mr. Paul A. Tremblay, of Taunton, died Wednesday, September 14 in St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford, following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Debra (Pouliot) Tremblay. He was born 60 years ago in Taunton, the son of Elaine E. (Lamarche) Tremblay and the late Albini Tremblay. He was educated in Taunton, having graduated from Coyle-Cassidy High School, and had been a lifelong city resident. Paul was employed as a construction worker for several drywall contractors in the area for a number of years. He was previously employed at Reed and Barton Silversmiths for 4 years. He enjoyed baseball and had coached in the Taunton Youth Baseball League for a time. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with his family on Cape Cod. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.

In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves: 2 sons: Jeffrey A. Tremblay and Jason P. Tremblay, both of Taunton; 2 sisters: Suzanne Tremblay of Taunton, and Annette Kubicek and her husband, Michael of Maine; 2 Godchildren: Kerrie Gully of Providence, R.I., and Matthew Kubicek of Maine, and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Monday, September 19 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.
