MALABAR, Fla. — Brian E. Hotte, 73, of Malabar Florida died on Sept. 9, 2016 after a long period of declining health.
Brian was born on March 12, 1943 in Lubbock Texas. He was the oldest son of the late Colonial Eugene T. and Rita F. Hotte.
As military dependents, Brian and his brother and sister, traveled to many parts of the world with their parents. Part of this adventure exposed Brian to his love of electronics at an early age and by the time he was fourteen, was repairing broken radios for friends and neighbors.
He joined the United States Air Force after graduating high school and was sworn into active duty by his father, who was a USAF officer at the time. His military career lasted 20 years. During that period he had assigned duty stations in Vietnam, Korea, Europe and stateside assignments in Mississippi and Florida. After retiring from the Air Force he worked for many years at the Harris and lntersil Corporations.
He is survived by his brother, Kurt and his wife Denise of Ogunquit, ME; his sister, Karen of New York, NY; his niece, Alyssa MacCarthy and her husband Gavin of Rowley, MA; and two grandnephews Graeme and Declan.'
A private family gathering and burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
