Betty Jean Chase, 74, of Derry, NH, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016, in St. Teresa's Manor Nursing Home, Manchester, NH. She was born in Derry, NH on February 17, 1942, a daughter of John and Ethel Ross, and had been a lifelong resident of Derry. Betty graduated from Pinkerton Academy of Derry in 1960. She was employed by GTE Sylvania for 29 years before retirement. .
She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Lester Chase of Derry and her brother, Kenneth Ross of FL.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
