BARBARA (HALLETT) KUNIHOLM, age 71, of Hingham, died on Tuesday, Aug. 2nd at her home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Kuniholm was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. She spent many summers on Cape Cod during the 1940's and 1950's. She graduated from Mt. Holyoke College in 1956 and lived in Cambridge, MA and Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Hingham in 1960.
She enjoyed reading, sailing and music. She was a member of the Hingham Congregational Church, where she sang in the choir for many years, a past member of the Hingham Yacht Club and active in the Mt. Holyoke Club of the South Shore. She served on and was president of the Board of Trustees at the Crittendon Hastings House in Boston.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul I. Kuniholm of Hingham; a daughter, Alexandra Heilala of Eastham; a son, George Kuniholm of Sudbury and 4 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, Aug. 5th at 11 AM at the Orleans Cemetery, Off Tonset Rd., Orleans, MA.
