Linda Sue Parks Langdale Dailey, 70, of Sycamore passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Tift Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Tifton with the Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Mrs. Dailey will be laid to rest at Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends Friday, September 16, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Dailey will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Josh McCrimmon, Richie Conner, Jim Isdell, Larry Smith, Ryan Dotson, Trenten Langdale, Larry Stone and Bill Ross will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Dailey’s grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born May 30, 1946 in Berrien County, Mrs. Dailey was the daughter of the late Robert Chesley Parks and Ruby Pearl Conger Parks. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Donald, Lewis, Gene, Lloyd and Fred; and two sisters, Gladys and Vera. She was retired from Shaw Industries, where she was employed for almost 20 years. She was a member of Tift Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Tifton, where she was baptized on May 1, 2005.
Mrs. Dailey is survived by her former spouse, Woodrow Langdale, Jr. of Tifton; two sons, David and Melissa Langdale of Coolidge and Steve and Kathy Langdale of Sycamore; one brother, Norman Parks of Tifton; seven grandchildren, Michael, Nikki, John and Clayton Langdale, Jessica Whitehead, Michael Hurst and Zach Joiner; and nine great-grandchildren.
