James S. Conniff, 58

James S. Conniff, age 58, of Brighton, formerly of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday. September 12, 2016.
Born in Arlington, MA on September 24, 1957, he was a loving son of Shirley B. (Barnes) Conniff of Norton and the late James E. Conniff.
Jim grew up and was educated in Mansfield. He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army and the majority of his working career was spent as a painter, most recently for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
A resident of Boston for the past ten years, Jim was a loving and caring person whose favorite times were those spent with family, especially with his daughter and grandchildren. He was an avid New England sports fan, his favorite teams being the Patriots and Red Sox, and he also enjoyed playing the daily lottery.
In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by his devoted daughter Andrea L. Conniff of Franklin and his cherished grandchildren Robert Topham and Rachel Topham. He was the dear brother of Cynthia J. Streeter and her husband Michael of Florida, Michael P. Conniff of Orleans, Robert J. Conniff of Brighton, Kevin P. Conniff and his wife Jennifer of Buzzards Bay, Kimberly A. Conniff of Taunton and the late Sandra L. Bangs. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside service at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Franklin St., Mansfield on date and time to be announced. Visiting hours are omitted.
