Obituary

Louellen Sandefur Daniel, a former resident of Mystic and Fitzgerald, began her eternal life on July 31, 2005, in Albuquerque, N.M. after complications from diabetes. She began life on earth July 6, 1916, the first child of eleven children to John James Sandefur and Vara Lou Reeves in Crawford County, Ga. Both parents descended from early settlers of the county. She married Robert T. Daniel on May 1, 1936 in Griffin, Ga. They first resided in Thomaston and both worked at the East Thomaston textile mill. God blessed this union with two daughters, Rosemary Thompson of Fitzgerald and Ginger Parkman of Sylvester; four sons, Terry of Anderson, SC, Wayne of Albuquerque, NM, Kenny of Bonaire, Ga., and Nelson of Prattville, Al. She awaits these and her 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and her siblings: Sisters, Annie Mae Slade of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl, Mary Jackson of N. Little Rock, Ar., Eunice Tatum of Fayetteville, Ga., and Vivian Phillips of W. Palm Beach, Fl.; Brothers, Edwin of Pooler, Ga., David of Macon, Ga., Eugene of Lizella, Ga., and Raymond of Macon, Ga. Relatives who preceded her in death were her husband Robert; brothers, Milton and James; grandson, Chris Ewing and son-in-law, Buddy Givens. Mrs. Daniel's life was celebrated on August 6, 2005 at Mystic Baptist Church, Mystic, Ga., with interment at the church cemetery.
