Obituary

FALL RIVER… Leo A. “Butch” Parisee, Jr., 73, of Fall River passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was the companion of Judy Whitcomb who he had been with for almost 38 years.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Leo A. Sr. and Charlotte (Kozak) Parisee and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Parisee was owner of the former Leo’s Welding Service which he operated for 46 years prior to his retirement. He also worked for the former Engine Service of Fall River and Korber Hats of Fall River. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, he was a member of the New Bedford Rod & Gun Club, Copicut Rifle Association, NRA and GOAL. He enjoyed gambling, going to the casino and spur of the moment trips with Judy.
Along with his companion, Leo is survived by his son Bryan and his wife Erica of Fall River, 2 step grandsons, Daniel & Cole Richards, his aunt, Blanch Parisee of Westport and several cousins.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 7 PM in the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway Fall River. Calling hours will be held form 5 - 7 PM prior to the service. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
