Obituary

George E. Dugger, 84, of Anderson died at his residence on September 12, 2016 after a year long illness.

He was born May 16, 1932 in Anderson to Charles Fredrick and Pearl (Stephenson) Dugger.

He served in the U. S. Navy.

He was a carpenter and retired from the Anderson Community School Systems.

Following retirement, he lived in Louisiana for 24 years before returning to Anderson in 2012. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. George enjoyed teaching and performing ball room dance.

Survivors include his three sons, Steven L. Dugger of Louisiana; Neale (Gail) Dugger of Kokomo; George F. (Dawn) Dugger of Anderson; two daughters, Dianne (Andy) Kerr of Summitville; Deanne Dugger of Elwood; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; sister, Violet Keen of Mendon, Utah; cousin, Louis (Judy) Stephens, Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Rebecca Dugger, daughter, Kathy Dugger, his parents, sister, Mary Dugger Levell and his brother Fredrick Dugger

Funeral service will be at noon on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Jerry Young. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with military graveside rites.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
