Jose Antonio Caquias (81) of Brockton died September 12th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of Sylvia H. Ortiz.
He was born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico son of the late Juan Antonio Caquias and Lorenza Serna. Jose was a baker and chef by trade. He enjoyed cooking for family, playing dice and cards.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 daughters. Gabina Caquias of Brockton and Virgen Caquias of New Jersey, many grand and great grandchildren, also brother of Vitin, Kike, Lingo, Norma, Mery, Tite, Melan and Fela (also the late Rochy).
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday September 15th at 7:30 pm. Cremation to follow. Visitation from 5 pm prior to services.
