Lois A. Ryan, age 84, passed away on Aug 28, 2016 at the Willimansett West Center in Chicopee. She was born on Nov 5, 1931 in Springfield to the late Edward and Mary (O’Connor) Ryan. Lois was a retired Lieutenant Commander in the Navy where she worked as a nurse. After retiring she continued nursing in the private care sector ending her career as a nursing supervisor at Willimansett Center East. She was a communicate of St Rose de Lima Parish. She leaves one brother Fulton Ryan of Kingfield, ME, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Arthur and Edward Ryan, two sisters Marilyn Dunphy and Celine Paquette and one sister in law JoAnn Ryan. A Funeral Service will be held on Thurs, Sept. 22, 2016 at 9:30 AM at St Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. Her burial will follow with Military Honors in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
