Charles H. Harvey, age 88, passed away surrounded by his family on Sept 11, 2016 at the Wingate at West Springfield Nursing Center. He was born on Apr 17, 1928 in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada to the late Henri and Marie (Trembley) Harvey. Charles was a communicate of St Rose de Lima Parish in Chicopee. He worked as a welder for many years. He leaves his loving wife Denise (Pinsonnault) Harvey of Holyoke; two sons Paul Harvey and his wife Donna of Agawam and Serge Harvey of TN; three daughters Diane Gosselin and her husband Robert of Westfield, Suzanne Haselkorn and her husband Mark of Rindge, NH and Paulette Rainha and her husband William of North Port, FL; two brothers Jacques and Real Harvey; 4 sisters Marie-Jeanne Favreau, Therese Routier, Rita Harvey and Claire Ladouceur; thirteen grandchildren Christine, Jeremy, Tanya, Alisa and Jennifer, Scott, Adam, Gregory, Nathan, Danielle and Sarah, Dena and Rachael; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers Joseph, Phillip, Yvon and Anotnio and four sisters Gabrielle Poulin, Florence Letourneau and Julie Bergeron and Donalda Pariseau. A Funeral Service will be held on Sat, Sept. 17, 2016 at 9:00 AM from the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Memorial Mass to take place at 11:00 AM in St Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. Calling Hours will be held on the Morning of the Funeral from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Burial is Private.
