
Mathilda “Millie” (St. Pierre) Falardeau Plath, of Second Ave. died September 12, 2016 at St. Antoine Residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard Plath and the late John Falardeau. Born in Slatersville, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Amanda (Gagne) St. Pierre. Millie worked at Miller Electric, Big John’s Variety which she owned along with her late husband John, and retired in 1984 from Tupperware. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Sr. Citizen’s, St. Louis Sr. Citizen’s, The Golden Heart Sr. Club, and the Fairmount Manor Assoc. Millie loved playing cards, bingo and traveling.
Besides her husband she leaves a son Richard Falardeau and his wife Candace of SC, two daughters Pauline Perron and her husband Robert of SC. and Linda Falardeau and her husband Kevin Shaw of Woonsocket, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son John Falardeau, a daughter-in-law Marilyn Falardeau, and siblings, Alfred, Louis and Arthur St. Pierre, Marion Ballou, Melina Richardson, and Lillian Croteau.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Antoine Chapel, 10 Rhodes Ave. N. Smithfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in N. Attleboro. Visiting hours are Wednesday
