Gilford-----Scott Frazier Wolff, 68, of Morrill Street, unexpectedly passed away at home on Friday, September 9, 2016.
Scott was born on October 9, 1947 in Yonkers, NY, the son of the late Kurt G. and Anita (Phillips) Wolff. He had been a resident of the Lakes Region for more than 50 years.
Scott was well known to many in the community for his years in law enforcement, achieving the rank of Sergeant for the Laconia PD prior to his departure. He then had a second career in real estate, retiring in December 2015. His passions were the care and maintenance of his beautiful home but most importantly, golf. He would golf every day if he could and he will be missed very much by George, Joe and Ray.
He was a devoted husband, son-in-law to Dave, father, grandfather and friend. If anyone ever needed help with anything, he was there for them.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Ellen (DeVeber) Wolff, of Gilford; two sons, Craig Wolff and his wife, Sara, of Yarmouth ME, and Kyle Wolff and his wife, Jackie Henke, of Swampscott, MA; four grandchildren, Conor, Robert, Graeme and Theodore; and two brothers, Kurt Wolff, of Wayzata, MN, and Richard Wolff, of Truckee, CA.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services, per Scott’s wishes.
