Obituary

CENTER HARBOR - Kimberly Ann (Smith) Caswell passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends at Dartmouth Medical Center on Sept. 7, 2016 after a long three year battle with cancer. She was 43 years old.

Born in Morristown, NJ, Kimberly was a longtime Harding Township resident and attended Saint Elizabeth’s Academy, class of 1991, she went on to attend Salve Regina University in Providence, Rhode Island. She was an avid skier, snowboarder, artist, designer, and had one of the best senses of humor of anyone you would ever know. Kimberly loved to travel and was often known to go on spur of the moment road trips and when you traveled with Kim you knew you in for hours of laughs.

After moving to New Hampshire she pursued a career in Retail Management making many friends along the way. Kim always longed for more and she knew there was a calling better than that of business for her. She found what she was longing for with her beloved and dedicated husband, Clay Caswell, whom she married in 2000. Kimberly was blessed with four children whom she adored more than anything in this world. She would often be seen at a beach or a sports match cheering her beloved children on and she wanted nothing more than to be with them as much as possible. She loved to travel with her family and was often spotted at a beach just being silly and enjoying every moment. That’s who Kim was a loving, loyal, kind, and funny woman and if you were lucky enough to know her than you were better for it.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Clay Caswell, four beautiful children Ryan, Brett, Clay Jr. (CJ), and Elena, her parents Jeffrey T. Smith and Deborah A. Smith, sister Courtney (Smith) Schwartzkopf and husband James J. Schwartzkopf, nephews Matthew Schwartzkopf, Michael Schwartzkopf, and niece Ashley Schwartzkopf, her Aunt Maryliz Baiter and her husband Richard J. Baiter, and her Aunt Robyn Keelty (God Mother) and husband Richard W. Keelty, her cousin Alison Grzes and husband Joseph Grzes, her cousins Mason Grzes, Asher Grzes, and Jack Grzes. She is also survived by her father-in-law Herman Caswell, her sister-in-law Pamela (Caswell) Kyle and her husband Ken Kyle, her brother-in-law Allen Caswell and his wife, cousin Allison (Kyle) Morrill and her husband Charlie Morrill and their daughter, cousin Ross Kyle and his wife Sarah and their 3 boys, and numerous other family members and to many friends to count.
