Chandler Shelley, 73 of Dover, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 9, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Marie Ann Nina (Talvy) Shelley sharing 47 years of marriage.
A Dover resident for 43 years he was born in Newton the son of the late Harris Chandler and Mary Elizabeth (Giles) Shelley.
Mr. Shelley worked for 51 years as the third generation owner of the John G. Shelley Company, Inc. of Wellesley founded by his grandfather in 1927.
He was completely devoted to his family, took great pride continuing the family legacy of the business, and enjoyed owning classic automobiles over the years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Lisa A Grieco and her husband Joe, Jennifer L. Shelley, Lauren E. Shelley all of Bellingham, two grandchildren Lillian Grieco and Paul Grieco of Bellingham.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, September 15th at 11:00 A.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery Wellesley.
