Samuel James "Sammy" Robinson, infant son of Tommy & Beth Robinson of Irwin County, died at his home on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Steve O’Neal officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born June 27, 2016, in Savannah, Georgia, Sammy’s life was about Love and Healing. Sammy came to the Robinson family to be loved. He was held close and hearts were poured into him for as long as God gave him breath. God healed Sammy just as He healed his brother, Timmy. Sammy *is* love. His love holds each of us. His love brought healing to broken hearts. Sammy's purpose on this earth was fulfilled. He was called to give and to receive Love and Healing. What a beautiful Legacy God gave Sammy’s life. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
Left to cherish the memory of Sammy are his parents, Tommy & Beth Robinson of Irwin County; siblings: Andy Robinson of Valdosta, Patrick Robinson & Sindia of Denver, Colorado, Mathew Robinson & Maggie of Loganville, Scott Robinson & Aimee of Douglas, Sarah Robinson, Anna Robinson, Mary Robinson, and Gracie Robinson, all of Irwin County; and grandmothers: Rosalie Allison of Valdosta and Lillian Robinson of Irwin County. Sammy was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Daniel "Timmy" Robinson, this past May.
