Rubye Nell Livingston Lastinger, 74, of Ty Ty passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Brent Lastinger and the Rev. Elmer Golden, Jr. officiating. Mrs. Lastinger will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, September 12, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Kyle Sommer, Blake Massey, Mitchell Foskey, Tim Hendrick, Kasey Luke and Mark Livingston will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lastinger Lady Bug Unit with Home Interiors and Gifts.
Born August 22, 1942 in Tifton, Mrs. Lastinger was the daughter of the late J. C. Livingston and Annell Crum Livingston. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde Livingston, James Livingston and Larry Livingston. She was an interior designer.
Mrs. Lastinger is survived by her husband, Wayman Lastinger of Ty Ty; one son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Sue Lastinger of Tifton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Monty Foskey, Skye and Ty Irvin and Faith and Buddy Cawley, all of Tifton; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Stanley and Sandi Livingston of Enigma and Mark Livingston of Tifton; three sisters, Wanda Livingston, Starr Livingston and Sharon Livingston, all of Tifton; six grandchildren and their spouses, Brooke and Kasey Luke, Brent and Ashley Lastinger, Jordan and Mitchell Foskey, Courtney McKee, Blake Massey and Kaitlyn and Carter Downs; and four great-grandchildren, Judah and Asher Lastinger, Hansley Faith Luke and Addie Leigh Luke.
