Lucille Walker Crumpton, 78, of Tifton passed away Friday, September 9, 2016, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Crumpton will be laid to rest at Springhill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenox. The family will receive friends Monday, September 12, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born March 16, 1938 in Ocilla, Mrs. Crumpton was the daughter of the late James Randolf Walker and Emma Jane Grantham Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Allen Crumpton, who died March 10, 2013; and a daughter, Jo Carol Eldridge. She was a retired seamstress.
Mrs. Crumpton is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Genny Nutt and Carlos Truelove of Tifton and Janey and Mike Walker of Ashburn; her grandchildren and their spouses, Joey and Mandi Hutto of Tifton, Chris and Kathy Youngblood of Nashville, Craig and Krystyn Youngblood of Ocilla, Jason and Tia Walker of Hawkinsville and Benjie Walker and Kristin of Jacksonville, Florida; her great-grandchildren, Lane Hutto, Kade Atkinson and Kalen Atkinson, all of Tifton and numerous other great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
