Jacqueline M. Grenon 83, of Falstaff Dr. died peacefully on September 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Arthur Grenon. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Oza and Eva (Brodeur) Allard. Jackie was a waitress at Cape Cod Ice Cream for twenty years. She was a great cook and enjoyed taking care of her family. Jackie loved her dogs and spending time at the Cape.
Besides her husband she leaves four children, Gregory Grenon of Cumberland, Michael Grenon of Woonsocket, Kelli Jensen of Cumberland, and John Grenon of Fort Lauderdale, FL, a sister Bertha Hamel of Rehobeth, MA, five grandchildren, Jamie Grenon, Jodie Bouvier, Justin Grenon, Nicole Lane, and Derek Jensen, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by seven siblings, Aram, Arthur, Robert, and Conrad “Pete” Allard, Claire Dansereau, Terry Morello, and Lucille Anger.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 PM.
