WEBSTER – Louis E. Rock, Jr., 64, died Monday, September 5, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.
He leaves 2 sons, Louis E. Rock III and his longtime companion Tammy of Webster, and Shawn Rock of Worcester; 2 daughters, Melissa L. Rock and her fiancé Thomas Walker of Pemaquid, ME, and Jessica A. Rock of Putnam, CT; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Johnny and Russell Rock, both of Maine; nephews and nieces as well as his extended family Kim, Mark, Tia, Jack and Chris who cared for him while he dealt with his illness. He was preceded in death by his sister Audrey Young.
He was born and raised in Webster, the son of Louis E. Rock, Sr. and Sophia (Sysco) Rock, both lifelong residents, and was a lifelong resident himself.
Mr. Rock was a carpenter and jack of all trades. He worked in maintenance for many years.
An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He liked to work on cars and to build models.
Mr. Rock donated his body to Harvard Medical School for anatomical and biological research. No services are planned.
