Mrs. Teresa Norton Wheeler passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center, Lawrence, MA.
Born in Lawrence on March 3, 1922 to the late Harold and Loyola Regan Norton. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence and a graduate of Lawrence High School. Prior to her marriage she was employed by Massachusetts Electric Company.
She was a former member of St. Augustine Parish on Tower Hill and a current member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish.
She was predeceased by her husband John E. “Jack” Wheeler who passed away in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Mary Anne and her husband Bryan Gosselin of Lawrence, her sister and brother-in-law, Marie and William Pekarski also of Lawrence. Her niece, Anne M. Cook and husband James of Salem, NH and their children, Sarah Cook of Salisbury and Siobhan and her husband Robert Atwood of Haverhill. Her nephews William Pekarski of Lawrence and his daughter Alethea. David and his wife Tracy Gosselin Pekarski of Methuen and their children, Gregory, Victoria and William and Eileen Pekarski wife of the late Christopher Pekarski. She is also survived by her cousins Theresa Fenton of Andover, Bernard Smith of Naples Florida, Nancy Masys, Thomas Bramhall, Susan LaPlume, Maura Doherty, Thomas Walton, Jr, all of Haverhill, Judith Casagrande and Paula Andrade of Methuen, Karen Moran of Maine and Patricia Pollano of North Andover as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her cousins Virginia Walton, Ruth and Lloyd Bramhall, Thomas Walton and his wife Phyllis, Patricia Martineau and Caroline Michaud.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in St. Augustine’s Chapel, 128 Ames Street Lawrence, MA.
Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA
