CHICOPEE – Michael P. Comiskey, 40, a lifelong resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Sunday, September 4, 2016. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Holyoke on June 18, 1976, a beloved son of Patrick J. Comiskey, Sr. and Barbara J. (Metz) Comiskey, both of Aldenville. He was raised in Aldenville and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. He was employed as a roofer for several area roofing companies and had last worked for Chaput Roofing in Holyoke. Michael was previously the owner and operator of MPC Home Improvements in Chicopee. He also worked part-time at the former Spiro’s Restaurant in Aldenville. Besides his beloved parents, he leaves his loving partner of 18 years, Theresa E. Makowicz, and their two loving children, Kayla M. Comiskey and Michael P. Comiskey, all of Aldenville; his loving maternal grandmother, Caroline Lutz of Chicopee; his cherished brothers and sisters, Patrick J. Comiskey, Jr. of Chicopee, Anthony B. Comiskey and his wife, Jennifer, of Northfield, MA, Tami M. Higgins and her husband, Scott, of Naugatuck, CT, Shawn C. Comiskey and his wife, Angela, of Chicopee and Erin C. Fedora and her husband, Andrew, of Chicopee; and his many cherished uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Comiskey, Metz and Makowicz families. His relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private at the convenience of his family. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
