James M. Souza, born June 3, 1949, age 67, passed away in Largo, FL peacefully
August 25, 2016 with his grown children at his bedside. Jim was the son of the late Mary (Defarias) Souza and the late Manuel & Mary (Luciano) Souza. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He had a great sense of humor and was a kind, loving, gentle man who went out of his way to make others happy.
Jim is survived by his wife, Carol, his sons Mark & David, his daughter Katelyn, his daughter-in-law Beckie and his soon-to-be son-in-law Anthony Grady. Jim leaves his sisters Anne Gagnon (husband Richard), Arlene Silvia (husband Tony) and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service with military honors will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 in
St. Patrick Church, 306 South St., Somerset, MA at 11:00 AM. Visitation with family in the church center from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Please enter by the side church center doors.
