James "Scott" Flaherty of South Boston passed away suddenly on September 1, 2016 at the age of 48. Cherished son of the late Helene Mallen Tempesta, his Father James Flaherty and his wife Cathy Flaherty. Loving brother of Sean Flaherty, David Flaherty, Jim Tempesta and Vinny Flaherty, Loving grandson of the late John & Helen Mallen and Mary & Vincent Flaherty. he is also lovingly survived by numerous cousins, extended family members and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at from 11:00AM to 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree, Ma.
