WORCESTER: Virginia M. (Hall) Rutherford, 77, of Briarwood Circle died Thursday, Sept. 1 in Knollwood Nursing Center after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Stewart E. Rutherford,Jr., a son Bruce S. Rutherford of Worcester, a daughter Tracy L. McPherson and her husband Eric of Smyrna, Tenn., a sister Janeth Baribeault of Worcester, three grandchildren; Alex, Luke & John McPherson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Dixie Reynolds.
Mrs. Rutherford was born in Brookfield, daughter of Stuart and Mary (Richards) Hall. She graduated from Tantasqua High School. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater New England Chapter, 101A 1st Ave., Waltham, MA 02451. J.
