Gisele Marie Francoise Gallagher, 88, of Ventura, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Mrs. Gallagher was born July 1, 1928 in Paucourt, France and came to the United States June 6, 1960.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts, crafts, painting, sewing, working outside in her garden, cooking wonderful meals for her family and friends, and traveling - especially to Hawaii, France, and on cruises. She was a member of the French Club and Rheinland Club.
Gisele is survived by her sons Richard Gallagher and his wife Oy of Hilo, Hawaii, Donald Gallagher and his wife Janice of Ventura, Patrick Gallagher and his wife Stephanie of Ventura, and John Gallagher of Ventura; twin sister Monique Cholet of Montargis, France; grandchildren Rachel Gallagher, Kendelle Gallagher, Morgan Gallagher, Izabelle Gallagher; great grandchild Justyn Wolf.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband George Edward Gallagher, her son Dominique Gallagher, and sister Madeleine Tabusse.
Rosary and Vigil services will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home, Ventura. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura.
Burial will follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo.
Gisele was entrusted to the care of the family owned JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 East Main Street, Ventura, where friends may visit on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Donations may be given in memory to Mrs. Gallagher to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
