Carol Rogers Williamson, age 62, died Monday, September 5, 2016 at Grenada Living Center in Grenada, MS. She was born March 8, 1954 in Batesville, MS to the late Ernest and Ruby Denham Rogers. Carol was a retired bus driver who enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, raising chickens and horses, and collecting dishes and antiques. She was an excellent cook and always enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Ron Crenshaw officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Williamson, Joe Maness, Clay Rogers, Travis Romberger, Al Cotten, and Craig Morgan serving as pallbearers.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Heather (Travis) Romberger of Water Valley, MS; two sons, Robert Williamson of Water Valley, MS and James Williamson of Scottsdale, AZ; two sisters, Ermal (Albert) Cotten and Michelle Sheeks both of Oxford, MS; two brothers, Ricky Rogers and Clay Rogers both of Oxford, MS; and six grandchildren, Emily Scott, Brooklyn Williamson, Caden Williamson, Megan Romberger, Isabella Romberger, and Amelia Romberger.
