Shanna Marie Thompson, 31, of Manchester, NH, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 in Manchester, after a period of declining health. Shanna was born, June 20, 1985 in Derry, a daughter of Mark Thompson and the late Cathy L. (Wentworth) Thompson. She was raised in Manchester and was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Manchester area.
Shanna enjoyed collecting and framing pictures of family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a loving and caring person who always put others first. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her two beloved nephews.
Members of the family include her father, Mark Thompson and his companion, Missy Paquette, her sister, Jolene Thompson, her two nephews, Devon and Jakolbee Thompson and her Maternal Grandmother, Donna McFarland, Maternal Grandfather, Kenneth Wentworth, Sr. and his wife Claire, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother in 2009.
After cremation, calling hours were held, Friday September 9, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium. 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A graveside service was held Saturday September 10th at 11:00 am in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
