Louis M. Clement, of Woburn passed away peacefully September 5, 2016 at the Winchester Hospital following a lengthy period of declining health. He was 79 years of age. He was the beloved husband of Josephine (Carimondo) Clement and together they shared 39 years of marriage. Born in St. Etienne, France he was the son of the late Marcel and Stelle (Fayolle) Clement.
Louis came to the United States in 1973 from France and settled in Woburn where he has been a resident ever since. He worked as a talented baker for many years most recently with Piantedosi Baking Company and Rudy Foods. Mostly devoted to his family, Louis enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren always in the kitchen cooking or baking something delicious for the family to enjoy. In his leisure time, Louis enjoyed the ocean and especially enjoyed deep sea fishing whenever he could find the time. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.
In addition to his beloved wife, Louis is survived by his daughter, Anna Carrillo and her husband Rob of Melrose, son, Marc Clement of Woburn, grandchildren Robbie and Julia Carrillo.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, September 9th, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Funeral Home will be held on Thursday from 4 thru 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
