Alma (Grigsby) Keesling, 86, of Greenfield, died September 4, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
She was born, December 13, 1929 in Hazard, Kentucky.
She worked production at Delco Remy Division of General Motors 38 years.
She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign War and was an Anderson resident until moving to Greenfield in 2004.
She is survived by her son, Don (wife, Ann) Polly of Greenfield; four siblings; Gladys Phipps, Earl Grigsby, Elmer Grigsby and Delmos Moore; six grandchildren, April, Heather and Joshua Polly; Shane & Michelle Polly and Greg Polly; several great grandchildren including Faith Swegman, Hope Winters, Quinton Polly, Beckham Polly and Conway Polly
She was preceded in death by her sons, Darryl Polly and Harold Polly and a great grandson, Jaxon Polly and two brothers, Matt Moore and Lonnie Grigsby.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, September 9 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
