Feliciana Rodríguez Guerrero
EVANS, GA – Feliciana Rodríguez Guerrero, 79, entered into eternity with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 3, 2016. She was born on August 6, 1937 in Pawnee, Texas to the late Luis V. and Inez Saldaña Rodríguez. Mrs. Guerrero met her husband in rural Ohio and the couple wed in Clyde at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on February 7, 1959. Mrs. Guerrero had resided in Evans, Georgia with her husband since moving from Woodville, Ohio in 2011. She was a wonderful wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Guerrero is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Marciano Guerrero Jr.; children: Reynaldo R. Guerrero of Oakland, CA; Dory Guerrero Gonzalez of Grovetown; Roger (Shirley) Guerrero of Martinez; Diana (Jose) Torres of North Augusta, SC; Roman (Celeste) Guerrero of Martinez; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother: Luis S. (Molly) Rodríguez of Fremont, OH; sister: Aurora Rodríguez of Laredo, TX.
In addition to her role as family matriarch, Feliciana along with her husband owned several businesses in Ohio: Cine Limelite (theatre) in Woodville, Little Mexico Gift and Record Shop in Fremont, and State Theatre in Bellevue. Mrs. Guerrero was gifted in painting, sketching and cooking. She was a devoted member of the Spanish prayer group at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont, OH for many years. God and her family were her passion and delight. She will be greatly missed and always loved.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, 5:00pm, hosted by The Father’s House at Master’s Worship Center, 3710 King St, Martinez, GA 30907. The family will begin receiving friends at 4:00pm.
