TAUNTON – Theresa H. (Furtado) Bowers, wife of the late John E. Bowers, died at Hannah B. G. Shaw Home in Middleborough on Sept. 3, 2016. She was 83.
Born and educated in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Furtado.
She worked for many years as a lacquer sprayer for Copper Craft, and later retired from Reed & Barton of Taunton. Mrs. Bowers spent her time knitting, sewing, and crafting. She enjoyed raising her family and loved sports, especially the Patriots!
She is survived by her daughter Susan T. Pimental and her husband Ronald of E. Taunton; her son, John E. Bowers, Jr. of Taunton and the late Mark Bowers; three granddaughters, Kelly, Melissa and Crystal; eight great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Madison, Travis, Brayden, Owen, Riley, Olivia and Harper; and a few nieces and nephews.
