BARNEY, Marguerite G, formerly of Sharon, and Madison AL, died peacefully surrounded by loving family, at age 97, on September 2, 2016. Loving mother of Carolyn Connors and Cheryl Connors of Madison Al, and Richard Connors of Sharon. Loving grandmother of Isabella. Born and brought up in Boston, she graduated high school. After a brief flirtation with singing professionally with Rex Allen, the singing cowboy, she found and married our dad, Charles Francis Connors. She raised her children in Sharon, and had a long, very successful career at the Kendall Company in Walpole. She remarried for a period of time. After retiring, Mom ?had vacations in Hawaii every year, and eventually moved to be with her daughters and grand-daughter in Madison, Alabama. Mom loved reading and was an avid traveler. She visited every country in Western Europe, and even made it to Prague and Romania. Mom toured Moracco, Denmark, Greece, Russia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea. She will be missed. .Relatives and friends invited to attend a graveside service at Rockridge Cemetery, SHARON, on Friday, September 9 at 11:30 am. Visiting hours omitted.
