Glynn Hornbuckle Smith, 78, of Tifton passed away Monday, September 5, 2016. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Bryan Mullis, Shannon Hornbuckle, John White, Jason Cottle, Clay Hornbuckle and Samuel Thomas will serve as pallbearers.
Born January 24, 1938 in Colquitt County, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late A. A. Parkman and Lillie Massey Parkman. She was a retired registered nurse.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Murray T. Smith of Warner Robins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Tammy Hornbuckle of Tifton and Andy and Regina Hornbuckle of Omega; one daughter, Traci Hornbuckle Mullis of Tifton; one step-son and his wife, Shannon and Michelle Smith; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
