Alzira (Rodriques) Costa, 94, of Little Compton, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antone D. Costa.
Mrs. Costa was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Pedro T. and Laura (Carma) Rodriques and had been a longtime resident of Little Compton. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress for various mills in Fall River. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son: Charles "Chuck" Costa of Little Compton; her grandson: Michael Costa; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Emily Monica and Laurinda Texeira.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton.
