FALL RIVER – Lucy (Bulhoes) Rezendes, age 93 of Fall River, passed away on Friday, Sep, 2, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank “Biff” Rezendes Jr. and the daughter of the late Manuel & Alexandrina (Paulino) Bulhoes. Prior to retiring, Lucy worked as a Sewing Machine Operator in the Textile Mfg. Industry.
Lucy was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Health Church and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a member of the North End Senior Citizens Club, The Maplewood Senior Citizens Club, 177 Retirees Club, and UNITE. She was an avid card player, gardener, dancer, traveler, & she loved her Boston Red Sox. She loved to be surrounded by her family, friends, & her beloved kitty, “Tiger Lilly”.
She is survived by her sons: Frank & Jeffrey Rezendes; daughters-in-law Sandy & Joan; her grandson; Matthew Rezendes, all of Fall River, & several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Bulhoes & Mary Carreiro.
