Shirley Ruth Brown, 77, passed away at home in Oxnard on Saturday September 3, 2016 with her family by her side.
Born in Oklahoma in 1939, she moved to California with her family when she was 4.
She is survived by her daughters Pamela Berrellez, Michelle Rhodes, and Lynne Brown; her son Frank Brown II; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death and now joins her beloved husband Frank Brown, parents Jesse and Jessie Dixon, brother Eugene Dixon, sister Janet Crow, and brother Robert Dixon.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday September 24th at from 12 to 4pm in The Clubhouse at 5067 Thille Street Ventura, 93003.
