Helen Recorvitz, 95, died Saturday, August 27, 2016. She was the widow of John Recorvitz who died in February, 2016.
Born in Toronto, Canada, she was a daughter of Elias and Agnes (Modejewski) Spzak. She had worked as a seamstress, and lived in Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Chepachet. She was a proud member of the Glocester and Smithfield Senior Association Centers.
She is survived by her sons, John Recorvitz, III of Ocala, Florida and Michael Recorvitz of Glocester, as well as her grandsons, Michael, Jason, Jared and Justin Recorvitz and two great grandchildren. She was the sister of Henry Spzak, Frances Parent, and William Spzak.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10 am in Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 4 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private.
