Obituary

Shea, Patricia (Reardon) of Walpole, formerly of Jamaica Plain, and Cambridge. September 3, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Attorney William G. Shea. Devoted daughter of the late John B. and Margaret C. Reardon. Sister of Virginia Linnehan and the late John, Arthur, Leo and William Reardon and Roberta Sheehan. She is survived by her dear and close friend Eileen Nee and her entire family, the Nee, Connell and Meaney families, her caring and supportive In-Laws, the entire Shea Family, loving nephews Neil Sheehan, and Kevin and Marisa Sheehan, and her close friend and advisor Attorney Robert Gaynor. She leaves numerous other nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

A graduate of Cambridge schools, she attended Burdett Secretarial School and the Copley Secretarial School and worked in secretarial and administrative positions in private industry, city, state, federal, and educational institutions in Boston and Cambridge. Active in political, fraternal, and philanthropic organizations in Boston, Cambridge, and Jamaica Plain, she was a member of the Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Joseph Harold Post HEH10, American Legion Auxiliary Units 27 and 36, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 1491, Holy Name Retirees Association, League of Catholic Women Archdiocese of Boston, Christ Child Society of Greater Boston, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Brookline Post 488, Youville Hospital Guild, Friends of the Cambridge Hospital, the Junior and Senior Philomathia Clubs at Boston College and the Paideias League of the Catholic Bays Guidance Center.

Visiting hour in St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St. Norwood on Wednesday morning September 7, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Timothy Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.

Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
