Loree Ida (Kleinhenn) Jolliff, 97, of Anderson died on September 2, 2016 at Crown Pointe in Anderson, Indiana following an extended illness.
Loree was born in Lansing, Michigan on April 7, 1919 to Frank and Nellie (Sisler) Kleinhenn. Loree and Francis Jolliff were married on August 16, 1942 in St. Louis, Michigan. Loree was a homemaker who tirelessly supported her family and friends. Additionally, she taught Sunday School and initiated various adult education programs in Church of God congregations throughout the Midwest, volunteered at Head Start in Akron, Ohio, and held a number of administrative positions throughout her life. Her greatest fulfillment came from seeing potential in others and helping validate it in whatever ways she could.
Loree is survived by sons, Mel (wife, Nancy) of Noblesville, Duane (wife, Patricia) of Lee's Summit, MO and grandchildren Scott, Geoffry, James, Donald, and Anne; nine great grandchildren, Samantha, Claire, Ridge, Madison, Logan, Bailey, Braiden, Graham, and Finn and several nephews and nieces.
Loree was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. Dr. Francis Eugene Jolliff; a daughter, Vada Loree Jolliff in 1944; 2 brothers, Charles Melvin and Alton Laverne Kleinhenn; 2 step-brothers, Guita W. and Hugh Arlyn Dyer; a step-sister, Inez Merna Miller.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11:00am at Park Place Church of God with Rev. Don Collins and Dr. David Coolidge officiating. The burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am on Thursday at the church.
