Gordon Aaron Beeson, 69, of Derry, NH passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Aurora Senior Healthcare of Derry, after a period of declining health. Mr. Beeson was born December 8, 1946 in Parkersburg, WV and was the only child of the late Willard and Ruth (Clement) Beeson. He was raised and educated in Natick, MA and had been a resident of Derry for the last 11 years.
Gordon had a lifelong love of fishing and was an avid Candlepin bowler. He had the distinction of being, “Massachusetts Class A Singles Champion” in 1968. Mr. Beeson was employed as a customer service representative with Schneider Electric Co. in North Andover, MA for over 27 years.
Members of the family include his loving wife of 32 years, Veronica (Plante) Beeson of Derry; a daughter Christina (Silva) Hamlin and her husband Alexander of Ann Arbor, MI: a son, Aaron Richard Beeson of Londonderry; and his grandchildren, Wesley and Ashton Hamlin.
After cremation, memorial calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
