John “Jack” W. King, Jr., age 80 passed away September 2, 2016. He was the husband of Lillian Reese (Jacome) King and son of the late John W. King, Sr. and Mary (Parkinson) King. He was a retired electrician for the General Electric Co. of Providence, RI and he was a US Marine Corp Veteran.
John was the stepfather of Myron Reese of Warren, RI, Edward Reese of Dighton, MA, Susan Silva of Dighton, MA and Betty Ann Consigli of Hopedale, MA. He was the brother of Thomas MacLean of Pawtucket, RI and Nellie Striegel of Buffalo, NY. Jack was the grandfather of Cheryle DeCastro, David Reese, Kim Marie McArdell, Danielle Pisarcik, Taylor Caruolo and Steven Consigli. He also leaves 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA SATURDAY September 10, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. with calling hours from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
Military honors by the USMC will take place at 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund.
